Dundalk Football Club (Irish: Cumann Peile Dún Dealgan) is an Irish football club based Dundalk, County Louth. The club currently play in the FAI First Division of FAI League of Ireland. Founded in 1903, they are the second most successful team in the history of the League of Ireland.
At the official opening of Ireland's first and only all weather horse racing and greyhound track, Minister Dermot Ahern said that Dundalk's day has come. The 'Polytrack' provides Dundalk with the opportunity to compete with other established racetracks around the country and will be able to offer punters racing events for both horse and dog throughout the year.
The Solemn Novena to St. Gerard Majella is held over 9 days in St. Josephs Redemptorist Church, Dundalk, Ireland. It runs from 8th to the 16th October.
